Responsibilities
Work with High Visibility Enterprise teams to develop and execute Enterprise Solution Strategy
Develop and land Specialty dispensing pharmacy Initiatives.
Compile and research technologies into one cohesive Technical Roadmap
Create Proof of Concepts that improve projects addressing customer challenges
Drive delivery excellence and partner with business and other IT leaders to build digital assets
Provide expert level support to resolve complex issues and provide RCA
Identify gaps in systems in current digital eco system and provide solutions
Establish adherence to technical direction, standards, and methodology
Lead the Technical Advisory council for application architectural reviews
Collaborate with Pharmacy Tower Architecture and Enterprise Architecture for integrated designs
Evaluate vendor technology for CVS' environment and influence their technical direction
Develop strategic technical direction and maintain the departmental strategic roadmap
Engage senior technical and business leaders in technical roadmap development
Lead matrixed application Technical Leads in implementing application standards
Act as the most senior technical contributor on strategic initiatives
Requirements
10+ years of hands-on information technology experience in systems analysis, application design, application development, and application program development with leading teams
7+ years of development experience in Java, Python, Spring Boot and some hand-on working knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, and/or NodeJS
5+ years of experience in building or leading large-scale applications
5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise cloud initiatives and solutions with cloud computing technologies and have a track record developing in GCP/AWS on a public cloud environment
5+ years of experience in managing stakeholder’s requirements, and technical solutions
5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and cost-effective API’s
3+ years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on AI technologies, particularly Generative AI and Large Language Models and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
3+ years of experience in one or more of the following DevOps tools: Kubernetes, Argo, GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Antifactory
3+ year experience with Kafka or open-source distributions
3+ years of experience working on CI/CD Pipeline automation
