- Actuary in Network Actuarial responsible for supporting Value Based Care partnerships; evaluating cost targets and developing tools. Collaborate across multiple healthcare business areas for innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support relationships with VBC (Value Based Care) partners by setting and evaluating cost targets
- Work closely with Medical Economics consultants in financial reconciliations for provider partners
- Contribute to the development of tools supporting VBC processes
- Involvement in researching methodology changes and creating marketing materials
- Maintain relationship with Milliman to support claims trends and manage financial relationships
- Develop and implement actuarial and underwriting policies and procedures
- Provide case-specific guidance and support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of actuarial and/or analytical experience
- ASA or FSA required
- Prior healthcare experience
- Value-based contracting experience is highly desired
- Strong technical, analytical, and financial skills
- Experience in or appetite to learn SQL language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
