About the role
- Software Development Engineer in Test at CR2 ensuring quality and robustness of digital banking solutions within a Scrum team. Contributing to test creation, automation, and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role within a Scrum team to ensure quality, reliability, and robustness of digital banking solutions
- Work close to the product under test — understanding business requirements and designing targeted test coverage (manual & automated)
- Actively contribute to automation test creation and ongoing maintenance while elevating quality standards across the team
- Own testing of projects from requirements refinement to production release
- Clarify user stories with Product Owners and developers to ensure clarity & testability
- Participate actively in all Agile ceremonies, providing accurate estimates
- Communicate progress, risks, and blockers proactively, and keep Jira up to date
- Create, maintain and run automated tests across Web, Mobile & API
- Execute manual and exploratory testing
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in QA
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, RestAssured (or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Mobile, API and UI automation
- Experience with Jira, Xray or equivalent sprint/ test management tooling
- Solid understanding of testing multi-tier systems (DB, services, web, mobile)
- Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries preferred
