About the role
- Junior Financial Analyst supporting international finance team at Corbion. Responsible for financial reporting, KPI development, and process improvements in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of daily sales and flash reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including visualizations and dashboards.
- Support the development and implementation of new KPI scorecards and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with business controllers and other teams to streamline and improve reporting processes.
- Assist with data uploads and projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within financial workflows.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, supporting both general and business unit-specific tasks (approx. 70% general, 30% specific).
- Work independently on assigned projects, with mentorship and support from senior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a corporate or international environment (experience in a global company is a plus).
- Strong technical skills: advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas), experience with Power BI (required), Fabric (nice to have), and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools; hands-on approach to data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch not required); able to work effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, but also able to work independently and take responsibility for deliverables.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
