Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise data strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Design scalable architectures for cloud and hybrid environments.
- Establish governance frameworks and ensure adherence to regulatory standards (GDPR, CCPA).
- Maintain data quality, security, and lifecycle management.
- Lead advanced analytics initiatives, including AI/ML integration.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for business leaders.
- Mentor and manage data engineers, analysts, and consultants.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for data-related decisions.
- Present strategies and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience delivering end-to-end data and analytics solutions in client-facing environments.
- Experience working with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Pulumi.
- Expert-level SQL proficiency.
- Strong working knowledge of Python and Spark for data processing and analytics.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns, including data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
- Experience using modern data engineering tools such as dbt and Airflow.
- Experience building dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
- Nice to have: Experience working in multi-cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with data integration tools such as Fivetran or Airbyte.
- Exposure to Machine Learning fundamentals.
- Experience with Generative AI solutions, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Hands-on experience with Vector Databases.
- Experience using Looker, Sigma, or Streamlit, especially for rapid Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
- Prior involvement in R&D initiatives or pre-sales activities, including client demos and technical discovery.
