About the role

  • Manager technico-commercial in charge of business development in the South-East region for an industrial group specialized in innovative electrical equipment. Managing a sales team near Marseille with a strong focus on customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • As a true commercial expert in selling technical solutions, your business acumen, curiosity and customer focus will ensure the success of your missions
  • Sale of technical projects: grow revenue through identified leads (lead nurturing), specification/prescription to engineering firms, electrical installers and end-user clients
  • Promote, drive and monitor technical and commercial proposals like a project manager, taking into account the client's demand ecosystem
  • Master the entire sales cycle from identifying needs to closing the deal
  • Operational management of the sales team (3 people): oversee project tracking and sales target delivery
  • Support and challenge the sales force
  • Manage KPIs, reporting and budgetary control of activities
  • Project environment: inverter products, rectifier/charger, AES, STS
  • Target: B2B — industry / tertiary sector / distribution / data centers

Requirements

  • Education: electrical, electrotechnical, mechanical or production engineering
  • 8 years' experience in business development in technical environments, ideally with an electrical contractor/installer
  • 3 years' experience in leading/operational management of sales teams
  • English: B2 level, written and spoken
