About the role

  • Senior Counsel at Clyde & Co, providing legal advice and handling insurance coverage litigation. Analyzing insurance policies, conducting legal research, and managing client communications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice and recommendations to clients.
  • Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda.
  • Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage litigation.
  • Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
  • Take a proactive role in managing matters, deadlines, and communication with clients.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice law
  • Has experience in insurance coverage and coverage litigation.
  • Has excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Has strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Has the ability to simultaneously handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
  • Has effective problem-solving skills.
  • Has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
