About the role

  • Sales Manager identifying opportunities in the public sector for Cloudogu's software solutions. Building relationships and facilitating the sales process for long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers in the public sector
  • Analyze trends, tenders and challenges
  • Develop new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking and direct contact with decision-makers
  • Build an understanding of customers’ technological challenges, strategic goals and pain points
  • Prepare proposals in collaboration with the technical team
  • Maintain long-term partnerships and strengthen the company’s market position

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the public sector
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Proven experience in business development, cold calling, lead generation and opportunity management in the public sector
  • Strategic thinker with strong communication, negotiation and networking skills
  • Ability to develop customers and markets and independently design strategies for successful customer engagement
  • Understanding of public procurement law, tender procedures and decision-making processes in a government environment
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies or digitalization solutions
  • Willingness to travel within Germany
