About the role

Responsibilities
- Close collaboration with development, operations, and architecture
- Reliable software delivery from commit through to the production runtime environment
- Support of stable, secure, and automated operations

- Design and operation of CI/CD and GitOps workflows
- Automation of deployments, tests, security scans, and releases
- Automation of infrastructure and platform operations using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform/OpenTofu)

- Integration of central platform services
Requirements
- Solid technical training or a university degree
- Initial to several years of hands-on experience in cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering environments
- Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins) and Git-based workflows, including GitOps
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Basic knowledge of networking, TLS, DNS, and operating Linux systems
- Practical experience with scripting or programming languages such as Bash, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
- Structured, eager-to-learn, and team-oriented working style
- Fluent German communication skills
