About the role
- Software Engineer designing, implementing, and testing features for Cloudera's Data Warehouse. Collaborating with various teams to enhance product adoption and support customers efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test and release new features and enhancements for Cloudera Data Warehouse
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, support, UX, and documentation teams to deliver features and enhancements
- Provide support to our field team and customers, facilitating product adoption and growth, smooth implementation and troubleshooting
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, and 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm and Docker containerization
- Solid Golang programming skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaborative mindset
- Comfortable interacting online with a worldwide team
- Some Experience/Familiarity working with cloud services such as relating to Authentication/Authorization, Managed Kubernetes, VMs, Storage services on any of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience supporting high customer impact systems in production and on-call rotations
- Experience writing Kubernetes Operators (also preferred)
- Experience with DevOps, Linux Troubleshooting (also preferred)
