About the role

Deliver end-to-end Data Science projects, from problem identification to production deployment. Develop and deploy scalable ML and Generative AI models using Python and AWS.

Responsibilities

**Deliver the full lifecycle of Data Science projects**, from identifying business pain points and defining timelines to final delivery, ensuring visibility across all involved areas.
**Develop, train, and validate Machine Learning and Generative AI models** autonomously using **Python** to solve complex problems (such as demand forecasting and intelligent automation).
**Build scalable, robust solutions on AWS**, selecting optimal algorithmic strategies and ensuring models perform with high accuracy in production.
**Act as a bridge between technical and business teams**, translating complex requirements into realistic action plans and communicating insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
**Explore and structure data from diverse sources** (internal, external, and unstructured), applying advanced feature engineering to improve solution performance.
**Ensure operational excellence and governance**, investing in detailed technical documentation, process automation, and continuous improvement of the team's working framework.
**Collaborate with cross-functional teams** (Data Engineering, Product, and Software) to integrate models into existing systems, ensuring technical feasibility and scalability.
**Proactively identify new strategic opportunities**, testing hypotheses and proposing the use of emerging technologies to anticipate company needs.

**Strong Python skills:** Solid experience building models, manipulating data, and writing efficient scripts.
**Cloud experience (AWS):** Hands-on experience with the AWS ecosystem for developing and deploying data solutions.
**Machine Learning and AI background:** Deep knowledge of algorithms (supervised and unsupervised), evaluation metrics, and interest in emerging technologies such as LLMs and Generative AI.
**Project autonomy:** Ability to organize your own work, define technical steps, and manage deadlines, ensuring end-to-end delivery.
**Interpersonal communication:** Ability to move between technical teams and business areas, translating complex challenges into realistic action plans.
**Data excellence:** Proficiency in SQL and experience in feature engineering, with ease handling structured and unstructured data.
**Quality mindset:** Concern for detailed documentation, process automation, and writing clean, scalable code.
**Education:** Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields, with a solid analytical foundation.
**Professional experience:** At least 1 year working as a Data Scientist in a corporate environment, participating in real delivery cycles and addressing business challenges.
