About the role
- Controller managing compliance with financial aid regulations and providing guidance to clients. Ensuring adherence to Title IV regulations while overseeing financial aid processes and student support.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations, including Title IV programs.
- Oversee the processing of student financial aid applications, verification, and awarding.
- Provide clear guidance to students and families regarding financial aid options, eligibility, and application processes.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with audit requirements.
- Partner with Enrollment Management and Finance teams to align financial aid strategies with institutional goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- 6 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
- Expertise in Title IV regulations and compliance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with financial aid management systems.
