About the role

  • Graphic Designer creating compelling visuals for CIRA, enhancing their digital presence. Balancing creativity and attention to detail across various media and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce a variety of creative assets including digital graphics, web visuals, trade show booths/banners, social media content, infographics, reports, presentations, print materials and more
  • Maintain and steward CIRA’s visual identity across products, services, programs, and partnerships, ensuring consistency across all media.
  • Ensure all creative output meets accessibility standards, is inclusive, and adheres to bilingual content requirements (English and French).
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, including web accessibility and inclusive design principles.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working in graphic design
  • Degree, diploma in graphic design, visual communication or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative suite
  • Strong understanding of design fundamentals and typography
  • Expertise in digital illustration and/or animation would be considered an asset
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear understanding of design across mediums.
