About the role
- Head of Data & Analytics at Checkmk, managing BI roadmap and Tableau Cloud. Leading data initiatives to drive business growth while fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the BI roadmap and align with executive stakeholders to prioritize data initiatives
- Act as the primary Product Owner for Tableau Cloud, managing the dashboard lifecycle
- Lead and mentor Data Engineering talent, overseeing technical architecture and scalability
- Create a structured process for BI requests, translating business questions into technical tasks
- Maintain the integrity of production data and manage QA processes for accurate metrics
- Foster a data-driven culture by educating users on self-service using Tableau Cloud
Requirements
- 6+ years in Data & Analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity in a SaaS or high-growth environment
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (Booked/Billed ARR, Churn, CAC, LTV) and Sales Funnel mechanics (Lead-to-Opp-to-Close)
- Expert-level SQL and Tableau; strong familiarity with Python for data engineering/orchestration
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable being 'hands-on-strategic' to meet deadlines
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
