Responsibilities
- Support staff and Project Managers in developing design layouts and frameworks for projects
- Generate the development of design concepts under the guidance of senior staff
- Research design and planning to ensure alignment with project goals
- Prepare project specifications and analyze relevant data for informed decision-making
- Write reports, specifications, estimates, and calculations
- Research building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements for compliance
- Participate in site visits to assess project conditions and gather information
- Collaborate with junior support staff and interns
- Develop an understanding of managing tasks on multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- 3+ years of related experience
- If not already licensed, demonstrated interest in actively pursuing or defining a path towards licensure
- Able to advance ideas effectively, demonstrating initiative in project development
- Demonstrated understanding of basic drawing conventions and concepts
- Growing capacity to manage multiple tasks across various projects while effectively meeting deadlines
- Willing to develop professionalism, punctuality, organization, and strong communication skills
- Proactive in seeking guidance and support from colleagues
- Open to participating in office and firm-wide activities
- Proficient in Revit
- Capability in AutoCAD and Rhino
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience with Bluebeam and Enscape
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
