Responsibilities
Develop software supporting integrated applications for real-time computer systems and Navy Combat Weapon System computer programs.
Apply quality assurance inspections to software products.
Develop software to support Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals.
Use browser-based scripting languages such as JavaScript in software development.
Program using C++ and Java computer languages.
Utilize LINUX operating systems and commands in development work.
Use Integrated Development Environments (IDE) for developing and testing software code.
Design, implement, program, and administer relational database systems.
Develop Graphical User Interface (GUI) systems.
Collaborate in the development of Learning Management Systems.
Engage in Tomahawk Weapons Control System software development.
Requirements
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
Ten (10) years of experience in the development of software supporting integrated applications for real-time computer systems and Navy Combat Weapon System computer programs.
Five (5) years of experience applying quality assurance inspections to software products. This experience may run concurrently with all other required experience.
Five (5) years of experience in the development of software to support Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals. This experience may run concurrently with all other required experience.
Three (3) years of experience with browser-based scripting languages such as JavaScript. This experience may run concurrently with all other required experience.
Demonstrated experience programming using C++ and Java computer languages.
Demonstrated experience using LINUX operating systems and commands.
Demonstrated experience using Integrated Development Environments (IDE) to develop and test software code.
Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, programming, and administering relational database systems.
Demonstrated experience using Military Standard Software Development and Documentation (MIL-STD-498).
Demonstrated experience developing Graphical User Interface (GUI) systems.
Demonstrated experience with Learning Management System.
Direct experience with Tomahawk Weapons Control System software development.
