About the role

  • Tech Lead leading a front-end squad at Itaú, creating digital experiences and overseeing technical solutions. Promoting growth through modern engineering practices and team mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership to the squad, ensuring scalable, accessible, testable, and high-performance solutions
  • Design and implement components and user journeys using Angular, React/Next.js, WebViews, and micro-frontends.
  • Create, integrate, and evolve internal agents with GenAI that support discovery, prototyping, and development.
  • Actively participate in the full cycle: Discovery, Build, Run.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote best practices (Clean Code, SOLID, design patterns).
  • Monitor performance, observability, and application health (DataDog, Splunk, CloudWatch).
  • Lead technical discussions and support decision-making alongside business areas.
  • Mentor developers and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Ensure the squad's technical quality and governance.

Requirements

  • Angular 2+ and React + Next.js
  • Practical use of GenAI (GitHub Copilot, Devin, prompts, automations, internal agents)
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Experience with micro-frontends, distributed architecture, and integration via REST APIs
  • Solid knowledge of RxJS, NgRx, and state management
  • Unit testing (Jest, Jasmine), Design Systems, Design Tokens, and building reusable components
  • Observability tools (DataDog, Splunk, CloudWatch), Git, CI/CD pipelines, basic DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • AWS (ECS, EC2, S3)
  • Practical use of GenAI (GitHub Copilot, Devin, prompts, automations, internal agents)
