About the role

• (Senior) Cloud Engineer focused on Microsoft Azure in Cyber Security consultancy. Leading client projects for cloud infrastructure implementation and optimization.

Responsibilities

• You independently lead client projects focused on designing and implementing cloud infrastructures and the subsequent evolution of those systems
• You provision new cloud resources and services in Azure using appropriate automation
• You drive innovative cloud-related topics forward and support internal efforts to build out our cloud and cloud security portfolio
• You optimize existing cloud infrastructures by performing performance analyses, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing appropriate adjustments

Requirements

• You have expert knowledge in designing, integrating, and operating cloud infrastructures in Microsoft Azure
• You have solid experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep or OpenTofu) and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes or Nomad)
• You use automation tools (e.g. GitLab, GitHub or Azure DevOps) as part of your daily workflow
• The following skills are a plus; otherwise you will learn them during onboarding: experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash or Python)
• You hold or plan to obtain cloud provider certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or Microsoft AZ-305)
• You have experience working on client projects and managing internal project teams.
