Responsibilities
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, validate, and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements for product, engineering, and technical teams
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to define project goals, scope, success criteria, and solution alignment
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Identify project risks, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies; create mitigation and contingency plans as needed
- Lead projects from initiation through deployment and post-launch support, adjusting scope and timelines to ensure successful outcomes
- Coordinate closely with engineering, compliance, subject matter experts, and business teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure clarity, accountability, and delivery of requirements
- Prepare and deliver project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level summaries for stakeholders
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation and support smooth handoffs between internal teams and external clients
- Leverage project data, metrics, and stakeholder feedback to improve processes, efficiency, and delivery outcomes
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and project management best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, product management, business analysis, client engagement, or operations roles within a technology-driven environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving setting
- Project management certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or ScrumMaster (a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence , or similar project management tools
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Access a plus)
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI , or other reporting and analytics tools (preferred)
- Prior experience in startup environments or internal software development teams is highly valued
