About the role
- Contribute to Flight Controls development and testing for Honeywell's next-gen avionics. Collaborate in a hybrid setting based in Brno, Czech Republic.
Responsibilities
- Flight Controls Servo, Flight Guidance, Autopilot, Virtual Guidance Panel or Maintenance Systems design
- Requirement analysis and decomposition
- Model based development
- Systems integration
- Systems validation & verification
- Flight Test support e.g., on local Bonanza test plane
- Work with systems/software engineers and other Honeywell teams during developing and integrating solutions for Honeywell Anthem product as well as for Honeywell customers
- Close cooperation with Lead engineer to plan, report and deliver your tasks in Agile project environment
- Actively support Internal and External Audits
- Participate on mentoring, coaching, training, and developing other engineers
Requirements
- 2 or more years of System development experience with emphasis on Control systems
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering/Controls Systems/Aeronautical Studies or related
- Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
- Skilled in Matlab/Simulink
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
