About the role
- Analytics Engineer transforming raw data into clean, reliable datasets for analytics at Medialab. Collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring data quality for various use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data models within DBT codebase
- Onboard new data feeds, collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements
- Champion data quality and integrity, troubleshooting issues
- Collaborate with senior Apollo leads to align data products with business priorities
- Use and contribute to Python tooling, writing scripts, enhancing existing tools
- Partner with analytics, data science and visualisation teams
Requirements
- Proficient in SQL with understanding of ANSI standards
- Strong working knowledge of DBT
- Some experience in Python
- Intermediate understanding of Git
- Strong communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Experience working with GCP (BigQuery) or other cloud-native data warehouses is a plus
- Familiarity with data pipelining and orchestration systems is nice to have
- Understanding modern analytics architectures and data visualisation tools is beneficial
- Experience with advertising or media data is a plus
