About the role

• Software Engineer at Eurobank developing banking products for the Core Banking Application Unit. Collaborating with product owners and business analysts in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the application design to develop a suitable application in accordance with customer need.
• Collaborate with other IT Technology units to improve the quality, usability and resilience of deliverables.
• Adapt existing solutions, codes, debug test and documents and communicate product development stages, integrate hadrware, software or sub system components into an existing or a new system.
• Validate results with user representatives, integrate and commission the overall solutions.
• Integrate hadrware, software or sub system components into an existing or a new system.
• Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience within an established organisation, in a relevant field; will be considered an asset.
• Hold a BSc/BA or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
• Are interested in building valuable Business knowledge by developing solutions at Core Banking Platforms, at IBM zSeries mainframe using Cobol, SQL, CICS, DB2.
• Are proficient in the use of MS Office.
• Have fluency in Greek & English language.
• Have team spirit and passion for innovation, creativity, originality.
• Have the ability to quickly adapt and be open to change, to fail fast, rise and move on.
