About the role

  • Regional Workplace Manager overseeing multi-site workplace operations across Birmingham, London, and Milton Keynes. Leading operational management, supplier oversight, and workplace projects.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a visible, approachable leader for colleagues and building users.
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and responding to what our teams really need from their workplaces.
  • Overseeing reception, catering, cleaning, security, document and building services.
  • Managing suppliers and contracts, holding partners to account on performance, value and risk.
  • Leading office refits and moves from start to finish, keeping people informed, budgets on track and compliance front of mind.
  • Implementing and embedding workplace systems such as desk and room booking.
  • Using data and insight to support space planning, occupancy and future growth.
  • Managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets, including rent, leases and service charges.
  • Producing clear forecasts, reporting and value-for-money improvements.
  • Ensuring H&S, fire and statutory compliance across the portfolio.
  • Maintaining risk assessments, audits and business continuity plans.
  • Supporting and developing regional workplace teams and site-based leaders.
  • Creating an inclusive, customer-focused culture aligned to Ampa’s values.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in workplace management or facilities management within a multi-site or regional portfolio.
  • FM (or similar) degree level qualification
  • Strong technical knowledge of building operations, health & safety, fire safety and statutory compliance.
  • Demonstrable experience managing FM suppliers, contracts, SLAs and KPIs.
  • Experience delivering office refits, relocations, workplace change or capital projects.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget ownership, forecasting and cost control.
  • Confident, practical leader with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable travelling between Birmingham and London as part of a regional role.
