Responsibilities
- As an experienced ServiceNow Architect in the field of Enterprise Service Management (ESM), you shape the digital future of our clients.
- You take responsibility for the architecture, roadmap and governance of the ServiceNow platforms and develop scalable, cross-functional solutions.
- You optimize business processes, implement them as efficient workflows and orchestrate complex integrations across multiple systems.
- You ensure platform health and performance as well as security and compliance, aligning the platform with business strategy.
- In close collaboration with the client's IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Production and other areas, you lead workshops and architecture boards and steer technical teams to deliver sustainable, future-proof solutions.
- Support our clients in digitalization projects through end-to-end design of large, scalable solutions across multiple domains (IT, Finance, Enterprise Architecture, etc.)
- Map business processes to ServiceNow including optimization and standardization
- Elicit requirements and conduct value discovery with clients; translate objectives into tailored solution designs
- Facilitate workshops, design reviews and architecture boards; prioritize requirements and convert them into viable designs.
- Design CMDB/data architecture (CI classes, relationships, data quality, reconciliation).
- Architect ITOM, Discovery, Event Management and integrations with monitoring, identity, ERP systems and hypervisors (e.g., SAP, Azure AD, AWS, etc.)
- Advise on transition and transformation of multi-supplier environments as a Service Integrator
- Develop service and operating models and implement them in ServiceNow, including supporting ITSM transformations
- Build advanced workflows and automations (Flow Designer, Subflows, BRs, Policies) and deliver configuration-focused implementations.
- Design and manage complex integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub Spokes) across multiple platforms/departments
- Ensure platform health (performance, scalability, maintainability, security & compliance)
Requirements
- Many years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect across different industries
- At least two relevant ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS ITSM, ITOM, OTM, ITAM, SecOps, etc.) and successful completion of courses, accreditations and micro-certifications in Now Assist, Agentic AI or AI Control Tower
- Strong consulting skills, excellent presentation and communication abilities at C-level combined with analytical thinking
- Several years of experience in business development and presales — including estimations, proposals/RFPs, demos, MVPs and POCs
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Knowledge of the market and its trends; ability to formulate clear visions, goals and priorities to successfully position new services
- Willingness to travel and very good German and English skills
- Desirable: experience with ITIL, SIAM frameworks and IT outsourcing
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Quick comprehension, innovative thinking combined with creativity
