About the role

• Senior Cloud Architect designing and managing cloud infrastructure solutions. Leading client projects and fostering collaboration in an international setting.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Cloud Architect (m/f/d) you design and manage technologies and project solutions.
• You coordinate architecture technology and business integration.
• Lead topics within the architect community and demonstrate passion for technology and business acumen.
• Promote Capgemini’s reputation with clients and across the German market.
• Work closely with clients, partners and business units to develop and deliver innovative and competitive solutions and projects.
• Maintain client relationships at IT management and IT director level; act as the client contact for IT architecture and domain-related questions.
• Develop, own and shape innovative solutions in the Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services space with a focus on Public & Private Cloud for new and existing clients.
• As part of a pre-sales team during the proposal phase, take on the Solution Lead role for an entire solution or individual tower in multi-tower deals and collaborate with SMEs and cloud architects.
• Support the demand generation process for Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services and collaborate with sales and account teams.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Services architectures combined with methodological competencies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
• Experience designing and architecting highly available infrastructure solutions with consideration for disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity requirements.
• Competence in Business and Technology Consulting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience and strong domain knowledge in one or more IT architecture domains (Data, AI, Containers, CI/CD, etc.).
• Willingness to travel is required; very good German and English language skills.
• Willingness to undergo security screening SÜ1/2.
