About the role
- PLM Functional Consultant helping engineering and manufacturing clients implement Siemens Teamcenter for product data management. Configuring workflows and driving user adoption for measurable improvements.
Responsibilities
- Join our PLM consulting team to help engineering and manufacturing clients design, configure, and adopt Siemens Teamcenter for better product data management
- Focus on functional consulting, capturing business processes, shaping PLM solutions, configuring Teamcenter (no heavy coding), and driving user adoption
- Design and configure Teamcenter workflows, lifecycles, and data structures to support controlled, auditable processes
- Guide testing, migration, and go-live activities while enabling user adoption through training and governance
- Deliver measurable improvements in data quality, compliance, and cycle time reduction across the digital thread
Requirements
- 5+ years in PLM consulting with deep Teamcenter functional experience across multiple projects
- Hands-on configuration of core Teamcenter modules (BOM/Product Structures, Workflow, Change/Release, Active Workspace)
- Practical exposure to NX and CAD–PLM integration for assemblies and release governance
- Full lifecycle delivery experience: discovery, design, configuration, testing, migration, go-live, and adoption
- Strong consulting skills: process mapping, stakeholder management, and value articulation
- Familiarity with Teamcenter integrations (ERP/MES), classification, reporting, and permissions modeling is a plus
- Awareness of BMIDE and data model concepts (read/understand models, not necessarily develop)
- Experience with Agile/SAFe delivery and engineering-led programs is desirable
- Sector exposure in Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Rail, or Energy is a plus
