About the role
- Principal Project Manager driving project oversight and planning within Capital One's Associate Experience Technology team. Responsible for managing projects and ensuring data accuracy in Jira with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Run the Weekly AXT Intent Council meetings to review progress, solve problems, and keep projects visible to the team
- Manage the intake process for ETB initiatives and verify that the work is scoped correctly
- Monitor the health of projects across different teams and report issues to leadership
- Manage the structure of projects in Jira, organizing complex data, and setting up project hierarchies
- Regularly audit project data to fix errors and remove duplicates
- Handle the distribution of large work updates and manage changes to project scope
- Act as the main point of contact between the AXT division and central enterprise groups
- Write and send the monthly newsletter and other team announcements to keep everyone informed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
- At least 5 Years Project Management experience
- Masters / MBA degree (Preferred)
- 6+ years of Project Management experience (Preferred)
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification (Preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills (Preferred)
- Strong problem solving and influencing skills (Preferred)
- Work experience achieving results with complex projects (Preferred)
