Responsibilities
Lead production support and system health for a suite of critical applications including PeopleSoft (Global One ERP), RACR, Trintech (ReconPlus), and ABACUS
Execute complex system configuration builds, change management, and source-to-target mapping updates
Identify and recommend modifications to existing standards; maintain a deep understanding of processes impacting the General Ledger (GL) and Reconciliation platforms
Perform duties within the Capital One Agile framework (Kanban/Scrum), ensuring transparency in risks, assumptions, and dependencies
Understand the end-to-end financial system value stream to troubleshoot technical and business solutions effectively
Coach and develop our cross function team
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in Finance, Financial Analysis, System Administration, System Integration, or Data Analysis
At least 2 years of Financial Systems experience
At least 2 years of experience with SQL
At least 1 year of experience using Jira
Master’s Degree or higher preferred
Proficiency in GSuite (Docs, sheets, slides, etc.) and/or MS office Suite preferred
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials or Workday ERP preferred
Hands-on experience with Trintech (ReconPlus), Frontier, or other automated reconciliation systems preferred
3+ years of experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban) preferred
Experience with cloud-based BI tools like Birst or QuickSight or Tableau preferred
Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferred
Demonstrated ability to automate manual processes preferred
Demonstrated ability to maintain effectiveness in constantly changing environment preferred
Ability to apply integrative thinking in complex situations, identify issues and propose solutions preferred
Analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to integrate information from different sources to solve problems and improve processes.
