About the role

• Joining a team to optimize industrial processes and products in Saint-Flour at Fromageries Occitanes. Collaborating and ensuring continuous improvement in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Production & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing the site's products and industrial processes.
• Your objective is to contribute to process reliability, improve industrial performance, and support product development.
• You will join a production team and work closely with the production workshop manager, and may cover some of their duties during absences.
• Industrial process optimization
• Identify opportunities to improve lines and equipment.
• Structure and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the reliability of methods, standards and best practices on site.
• Propose and lead technical solutions to improve performance (quality, productivity, safety).
• Project management
• Lead projects.
• Ensure coordination between internal teams.
• Define a clear roadmap and track milestones.
• Support teams during deployment phases.
• Technical support & cross-functional collaboration
• Work closely with production and support functions.
• Train, support and assist operational teams.
• Product development & improvement
• Analyze product characteristics and their impact on processes.
• Participate in the study and implementation of future product evolutions.
• Conduct tests, analyze results, document and validate solutions.
• Ensure consistency between product design, industrial feasibility and costs.

Requirements

• Be proactive and a driving force for continuous improvement.
• Master's degree (engineering school or equivalent).
• Experience in an industrial environment, ideally in product/process roles.
• Proficiency with IT tools.
• Ability to work independently with method and rigor.
• Strong synthesis skills, strategic perspective and proactivity.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of cheesemaking technologies is a plus.
