Responsibilities
Lead the joint business planning process and annual strategic plan with Ingles.
Manage supplier relationships and utilize sales planning tools to create optimal customer plans.
Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans.
Collaborate with DSD Field Sales Organization and Independent Distributors to win in the marketplace.
Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate promotional results and maximize future opportunities.
Monitor and manage deduction balances and conduct post audits.
Drive retail availability and additional product placements using shelf solutions.
Conduct category business reviews and leverage loyalty and syndicated data.
Lead category assessments and develop accurate monthly forecasts to maximize supply chain efficiency.
Sell in new items and work with customer personnel to achieve optimal distribution.
Identify profitable opportunities for incremental volume.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
4+ years’ experience in the CPG industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
Ability to pull and use syndicated data (IRI/Circana).
Negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Ability to conduct meetings at elevated levels.
Category and brand knowledge (Nice to Have).
Knowledge of supply chain operations (Nice to Have).
P&L management experience (Nice to Have).
Experience managing a DSD business (Nice to Have).
