Responsibilities
- Technically lead a Go backend squad focused on Core Banking.
- Design architectures for distributed, resilient, and scalable services.
- Implement critical features in Go, review PRs and ensure best practices.
- Define quality standards, testing strategies, observability and security requirements.
- Work closely with Product to refine requirements and prioritize deliveries.
- Mentor the team, supporting technical growth and collaboration.
- Contribute to platform-wide architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Strong production experience with Go (Golang), with a backend focus.
- Experience as a technical lead or technical reference for a team.
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST/gRPC APIs.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Good practices in automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring and logging.
- Experience with high-availability and high-performance systems.
- Clear communication and strong technical decision-making skills.
- Previous experience in Core Banking, payment systems or fintechs.
- Domain knowledge of financial areas: accounts, settlement, reconciliation.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or similar).
- Experience working in highly regulated and compliance-driven environments.
- Contributions to the Go community (open source, talks, articles).
