About the role
- Senior Director, Product Management overseeing modernization of IAM and BERT platforms at CFA Institute. Leading strategic direction and delivery of foundational enterprise platforms to enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi‑year roadmaps for IAM and BERT as foundational enterprise platforms
- Ensure platform strategies directly support the organization’s 2030 strategy, customer experience goals, and scalability needs
- Identify and champion modernization opportunities that improve security, interoperability, performance, and user experience
- Provide product leadership for enterprise IAM capabilities, including authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and access governance
- Partner closely with the Information Security team to ensure IAM solutions meet security, risk, compliance, and privacy requirements while minimizing friction for users
- Lead product oversight of BERT modernization, ensuring the platform enables advanced analytics, personalization, and data‑driven decisioning
- Partner daily with Technology and Engineering to translate product strategy into executable delivery plans
- Establish clear product goals, success metrics, and KPIs for IAM and BERT platforms
- Lead and develop a team of platform product managers and supporting roles
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8–10 years of experience in product management, platform product management, or enterprise technology domains
- Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale, foundational platforms (e.g., IAM, data, analytics, or shared services)
- Strong preference for experience in technology‑enabled or education‑focused organizations
- Experience working in Agile and modern product delivery environments
- Proven ability to partner effectively with engineering, security, and business stakeholders at senior level
- Strong strategic thinking and roadmap development skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
- Deep understanding of balancing security, compliance, and customer experience
- Outstanding communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
- High level of organizational agility and ability to manage complex, interdependent priorities
