About the role
- Senior Member Technical – SDET with Playwright responsible for creating and executing automated tests in a hybrid work environment. You'll collaborate across teams to ensure quality in fintech solutions developed by Broadridge.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute automated test cases of new functionality, working at multiple layers in the technology stack including web, microservices, database, and offline processes.
- Work with Developers, Product Owners, and peers to understand wider product functionality, to clarify and inform on test case design, confirm, and document defects accurately.
- Follow team workflow and practices, both in QA and wider Engineering team, and suggest improvements.
- Participate in selection and execution of regression test phases on new releases.
- Use the test automation framework to automate regression tests and help construct a comprehensive suite.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree or Master’s Degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience in test in a web-based software product environment
- Writing test automation scripts and executing automated tests
- 4-6 Years of experience with JIRA, Selenium or Playwright with type script is must , SQL , TeamCity, Git lab , Automated and manual testing
- Testing in in an AWS environment will be added advantage.
- Experience as an Agile Scrum Master with relevant Certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience working on Agile teams
- Good Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Domain knowledge of Wealth Management and/or financial services is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
