Responsibilities
- Manage data governance specialists
- Lead the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide data risk program
- Provide subject matter expertise for a data literacy campaign
- Collaborate across business units to establish data governance frameworks
- Mitigate data-related risks and drive data accountability culture
- Classify data, maintain data definitions, and identify critical and sensitive data
- Support data sourcing/usage requests and define data quality controls
Requirements
- Experience in large scale/enterprise data projects
- Substantial direct experience in data governance and/or data management programs
- Knowledge of data standards, data cataloguing, tagging, lineage, and operational data products
- Working knowledge of data governance, data management, data lifecycle management, and evolving best practices
- A range of professional industry qualifications in data management, data protection, and information governance
