About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead field and technical evaluations of existing process units
- Direct and perform calculations, develop PFDs and P&IDs, provide design documentation for downstream engineering disciplines, develop equipment specifications, compile scope of work packages for construction
- Lead Client and Contractor interface, attend meetings, and provide written reports
- Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects
- Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
- Experience: Min Yr = 08+
- Licensure: P.E. Preferred
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of P&ID development, heat and material balances, hydraulic and equipment sizing calculations, relief device sizing, API standards, and ASME codes required. Knowledge of process simulation software (eg Aspen Plus, HYSYS) preferred
- Management: Experience mentoring and leading small teams required
- Other Skills: Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
