About the role
- Accounting Intern joining Finance team to assist with data entry, journal entries, and financial reporting. Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate accounting environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Help prepare financial reports and documentation
- Review and verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents
- Organize and maintain financial records, both physical and digital
- Assist with audits, reporting, and other projects as needed
- Perform administrative tasks to support the Finance department
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
