About the role
- Financial Accountant managing financial transactions, records, and reporting for Bosta Fulfillment. Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimizing financial health in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly loan repayment schedules to identify overdue accounts.
- Conduct collection follow-ups through phone calls.
- Negotiate repayment arrangements and provide guidance to clients on settling outstanding balances.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of client contact, promises to pay, and payment outcomes.
- Escalate difficult or high-risk cases and recommend appropriate legal or policy action when necessary.
- Educate clients on financial discipline, repayment obligations, and the impact of late payments.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of microfinance lending principles and credit assessment.
- Very Good in MS Office (Excel, Word) .
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-service orientation.
- 1–3 years of experience in loan collections, credit control, microfinance, banking, or related roles.
