About the role

• Mid-Level Information Security & Governance Specialist at Boeing ensuring NASA program compliance with cybersecurity expectations. Engage with Information System Owners and conduct assessments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Information System Owners (ISOs) on the development, maintenance, and tracking of the System Security Plans (SSPs)
• Coordinate required documentation and/or artifacts required to support the SSPs
• Provide continuous monitoring, software evaluation, incident handling, and policy communication to system users
• Manage the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) and Risk-Based Decisions (RBDs)
• Conduct required self-inspections and support preparation for NASA Customer
• Conduct third party assessments of IT and Operational Technology (OT) devices across multiple sites as required
• Engage in NASA Information Technology (IT) and Cyber compliance forums to understand NASA expectations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information protection, risk management, and/or Information Technology (IT) compliance
• 3+ years of experience working on NASA programs
• 3+ years of experience as an information system security officer (ISSO)
