About the role

  • Working Student in Automotive Security and AI at BMW Group. Analyzing data flows in AWS Cloud and contributing to AI solutions for security processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support analysis of data streams in the AWS Cloud to secure digital after-sales processes and protected operations.
  • Actively contribute to the development and refinement of a prototype AI agent to structure analyses of security processes.
  • Use the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI agents with IT infrastructure and assist in the prototypical implementation of these interfaces.
  • Apply data analysis to meaningfully improve the design and efficiency of internal processes.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Strong coding affinity and fluent command of at least one common programming language, ideally Python.
  • Solid understanding of databases and targeted data queries (e.g., via SQL, Spark, or PySpark).
  • Understanding of AWS, Azure, or other cloud infrastructures.
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot or initial exposure to agentic AI is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on attitude with the ability to get started quickly and contribute independently to the project.
  • Good German and English skills.
