- Serve as the agency’s lead budget and fiscal expert
- Guide the full budget lifecycle, from development and validation to execution and ongoing monitoring
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the agency’s budget
- Deliver advanced fiscal analysis that informs strategic planning
- Assess financial trends and their impacts
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Play a critical role in safeguarding the agency’s fiscal health
Requirements
- Six years of progressively responsible experience that included the preparation, analysis, and administration of a budget or fiscal system
- Experience must have included modeling and forecasting fiscal information
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting or a related degree may substitute for three years of the required experience
- A graduate-level degree in any of the above areas may substitute for four of the six years
