Responsibilities
- Translating complex operational requirements from the shop floor into scalable, future-proof IT and SAP solutions (in particular SAP PP, EWM, MES).
- Functional responsibility for operationalizing the IT vision and for technical governance within global Digital Factory initiatives.
- Assessing and managing global roadmaps with regard to feasibility, risks and system dependencies.
- Defining and ensuring quality gates (DoR / DoD) to comply with architecture and quality standards.
- Developing in-depth application and integration concepts in the SAP and MES environment.
- Steering and facilitating technical decision-making processes at the international level.
- Preparing complex technical matters as decision input for top management.
- Responsibility for technical risk management in business-critical programs.
Requirements
- University degree in (business) informatics/computer science, engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in production or intralogistics environments, ideally in international industrial companies.
- Deep expertise in SAP PP or SAP EWM, including integration with adjacent systems (e.g. MES).
- Solid experience in solution design, system architecture and interface conception.
- Good coding skills (ideally ABAP) for analyzing complex logic and performing code reviews.
- Experience with enterprise agile methods (Scrum, SAFe, DoR/DoD).
- Strong ability to translate complex requirements into structured, scalable IT concepts.
- Confident presence and strong communication skills at all levels (shop floor to C-level).
- Willingness to travel to international sites.
- German (at least C1) and English (at least C1).
