About the role
- Quality Assurance Specialist ensuring compliance with Bioland regulations in food processing and trade. Focusing on control, certification, and process optimization with a committed team.
Responsibilities
- Together with the team you ensure reliable quality assurance at our partners in processing and trade — with a focus on compliance with Bioland standards in the context of inspection and certification
- Review and analysis of inspection results from Bioland partner operations
- Processing of applications for exceptions and approvals in accordance with Bioland guidelines
- Ensuring smooth operation of the inspection season (e.g. document updates, training)
- Handling inquiries regarding the inspection and certification of partners; advising partners and inspection bodies
- Contributing to the development and optimisation of quality assurance processes
Requirements
- University degree in Food Science
- Ideally: professional experience in quality assurance for organic products
- Highly structured, conscientious and independent working style
- Strong communicator and cooperative team player with enthusiasm for cross-departmental collaboration
- Identification with the organic agriculture and food sector and commitment to our objectives
