About the role

  • Import/Export Analyst managing end-to-end import/export processes ensuring compliance and efficiency. Collaborating with various stakeholders for logistics and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end import and export processes, ensuring compliance with applicable rules, regulations and requirements.
  • Monitor the logistics flow from shipment to delivery (follow-up with agents, carriers, warehouses and other stakeholders).
  • Track and analyze costs (freight, storage, duties, taxes and ancillary charges) and lead times, seeking the best cost-benefit and optimization opportunities.
  • Keep procurement and international trade operations records and documentation up to date and organized (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates, proofs and internal controls).
  • Ensure proper interface and communication between internal teams (Purchasing, Planning, Finance, Tax, Quality, Operations) and external parties (suppliers, customers, customs brokers, freight agents).
  • Support continuous improvements in routines, controls, indicators and process standardization (KPIs for time, cost and service level).

Requirements

  • Degree in International Trade (Comex), International Relations, Business Administration, Logistics or related fields.
  • Fluent English and/or Spanish (for interaction with international suppliers/partners).
  • Experience/knowledge in import and export procedures, shipment follow-up and documentation.
  • Organized, sense of urgency, strong communication skills and an analytical profile for managing deadlines and costs.
