- Review product specifications in order to provide development estimates and product feedback
- Innovative technical design and creative of technical specifications

- Balance the commercial need against technology capabilities
- Development life-cycle, development standards and management of the technical risks
- Development deliverables and documentation
- 24×7 operational support for the owned product and components
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Requirements
- Commercial development experience (whole life-cycle) in an enterprise environment
- In depth knowledge of at least one programming language (Java)
- Experience developing distributed, redundant and transactional systems
- Proven track record of leading and managing development teams on software projects
- Experience of using agile methods for software delivery
- Experience in Object Oriented Design
- Experience using source code control in multi-branch environments
- Experience using defect tracking systems
- Knowledge of the betting industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or appropriate postgraduate qualification)
