About the role
- Associate iOS Engineer developing and maintaining mobile applications at FanDuel. Collaborating in an Agile environment while utilizing Swift and other iOS technologies.
Responsibilities
- Review product specifications in order to give development estimates and product feedback
- Innovative technical design and creation of technical specifications
- Work in an Agile environment
- Software creation, adhering to and feeding back into departmental standards and guidelines
- Technical documentation that shares knowledge effectively
- Self-learning is considered to be a plus
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years experience in developing mobile applications
- Technical or computer science background or a similar qualification
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Creative problem solver with a sense of ownership
- Good communication skills (English) are required (both verbal and written)
- Great understanding of OOP design principles, Data Structures and Algorithms
- Knowledge of Swift, iOS SDK, Xcode
- Experience working with dynamic data (JSON, REST, APIs, etc.)
- Knowledge of UIKit and Foundation libraries
- Good understanding of design patterns and layered architecture
- Experience in developing Swift SDKs is a plus
- Knowledge of SwiftUI, Combine, CI/CD tools (e.g. Fastlane) is a plus
