Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing and supporting scalable enterprise applications
- Contributing to sprint delivery
- Supporting critical production incidents when required
- Lead hands-on development activities while providing architectural guidance to the team
- Support architectural decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and cross-functional teams
- Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of long-term fixes
- Support L2/L3 application support teams and escalation management
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java application development
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Java Spring MVC
- Spring Boot
- REST API development
- Microservices architecture
- Experience developing web applications and backend services
- AngularJS (1.x) (Advantageous)
- JavaScript (Advantageous)
- Node.js (Advantageous)
- HTML, CSS3 (Advantageous)
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Advantageous)
- Exposure to Swagger, Apache Spark, SQL/ITL and regression testing (Advantageous)
- Experience working in SAFe Agile environments
- Senior-level experience supporting critical and major production incidents
- Experience balancing development responsibilities with support and incident resolution
- Understanding of application lifecycle management and production stability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members
- Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Comfortable working in high-pressure environments during incident situations.
