Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and developer platforms
- Contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation of platform engineering solutions
- Build cloud-agnostic platform solutions
- Design and maintain automated systems across infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and supporting platform services
- Implement and support monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure platform reliability and observability
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to enable smooth application delivery
- Support services post-deployment
- Create and maintain clear documentation
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and platform engineering concepts
- Professional experience writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code in one or more programming languages (e.g. C#, Go, Python, or similar)
- Experience designing and implementing backend services, APIs, and integration patterns (including RESTful APIs and microservices)
- Good understanding of software design principles, testing practices (unit, integration, automation), and quality standards
- Experience building or contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automated developer workflows
- Familiarity with containerised application development and deployment
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage priorities, work across multiple initiatives, and deliver reliably
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and pick up new tools, technologies, and ways of working.
