About the role

- Ensuring high-quality, family-centered pediatric intensive care
- Recruitment, planning, leadership and development of staff
- Duty scheduling and absence management
- Organization of outpatient one-to-one care assignments as well as admission and occupancy management
- Internal communication and external representation of the organization
- Competent emergency management
- Taking on on-call duties
- Collaboration with physicians, therapists, hospitals, payers and relatives
- Implementation of legal requirements as well as quality and hygiene standards
- Preparation for and support during medical review audits
- Participation in the financial management and further development of the service
Requirements
- Completed training as a qualified nurse (m/f/d), registered nurse, pediatric nurse, health and nursing nurse or geriatric nurse
- Further training in nursing management (Pflegedienstleitung)
- Further training in out-of-hospital/home mechanical ventilation
- Specialist nursing expertise or proven experience in (out-of-hospital) intensive care
