About the role
- As a Digital Engineer - CAD Support at Babcock, you’ll configure CAD systems for major projects. Supporting data integrity and best practices across engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Configure and support CAD software for major projects
- Guide users on best practice and model management
- Manage data across multiple disciplines, including audits and quality checks
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for software upgrades and new applications

Requirements
- Extensive experience in Mechanical Design/Engineering
- Skilled in Autodesk Inventor & Vault for 3D CAD model and data management
- Strong problem-solving and innovative mindset
- Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO19650)
- Experience with document/information management software
- BTEC National Diploma or higher in Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
