About the role

  • CAD Digital Engineer at Babcock delivering digital engineering across critical infrastructure and defence programmes. Engaging in quality modelling, data management, and digital workflows for complex engineering assets.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of digital engineering across some of the UK’s most critical infrastructure and defence programmes.
  • Contributing to high‑quality modelling, data management and digital workflows.
  • Producing templates aligned with project deliverables.
  • Providing management support to the content centre.
  • Managing asset information and ensuring the quality of engineering data.
  • Developing procedural documentation and processes for drawings, models and data exports.
  • Supporting buildability, clash detection and digital coordination activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in mechanical and/or process design.
  • Proficiency using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Experience using Vault for data management.
  • Experience with Plant 3D - Desirable
  • Ability to deliver quality‑assured engineering outputs in a regulated environment.
  • Qualified by experience.
